I got the opportunity to spend the day at SATA USA with Nub from Nub Grafix. He was there giving a demonstration of Auto-Air Colors, a water based automotive paint. It was A LOT of fun, Nub is really cool to hang out with AND he's a car guy. Gotta love that. :thumbsup:

Scott, Sure wish I could have made it but unfortunately we have a deadline on a project and the cutomer is picking it up tomorrow morning instead of saturday like was planned. That would have been a great oppurtunity to learn something thats for sure.

did you guys talk about occ. and weather or not the insane deadlines they put him thru are real or not? i just can't imagine doing the type of awesome work he does in a day or two.

Very cool, I have a deep respect for the top notch paint guys (Lavallee etc.) There are many things on top notch cars I look at and say yeah I could do that. But looking at their airbrush work just leaves me in awe. :hail: :hail: :hail:

Very cool. Would just love to have someone with that kind of talent do my car, but I can't even imagine the price tag. :eek:

I have a picture with Nub and me together but I'm not crazy about posting it. Somebody will PhotoChop me for sure. :lol:

Thats pretty wild Scott, Just last night, I was with Ron Fleenor (Flea) http://www.raceartcustomhelmets.net/Home.htm
at a seminar put on by SEM Color Horizons. Ron does all the racers helmets, lots of special cars (Winston Cup cars), is doing Tony Stewarts hurst on Unique Whips in a couple weeks. I can paint pretty damn good, but it is awe striking to watch a artist at work. They make it look so damn simple!
