I have a friend who wanted me to post a couple of engines for him where ever I could so I figured I would start here.
Im not doing any LS stuff or I would buy the LS3 in a heart beat.
1st one up is a LS3 with 212 miles out of a 2012 Camaro with a 6 speed automatic. The set up is complete and I mean complete. Turn key engine, stock harness, all accessorie drive, pedel and Maf. Asking price is $10,500 you can pick it up from me or it can be delivered or shipped for an Extra charge.
2nd is a LS2 with a 4l60e with 13,000 miles on it. Another complete set up as the LS3. Asking price is $5,500. Pick/delivery or shipping.
As soon as I go see them I will get some pics if it is needed.
Thanks and feel free to give me a call. John 510-867-1797

The LS3 setup is exactly what I want for my Chevelle.
But getting it to South Dakota is an issue :bang:

I'd be interested in the trans if the decision is made to separate!

No disrespect to Ron as I know he has experience with shipping an engine:thumbsup: however when I was looking to get a subframe to MN from CA I learned of U-Ship (http://www.uship.com/) It is pretty slick how it works, they bid on your shipment from portal to portal. You basically need it crated and weighed, once you sign up the offers start coming in within hours.

None taken Robert! Uship is a great option in many situations. I have no skin in this game, and like using a carrier I know if/when shipping a motor.

That was kind of where I was coming from. While I wanted to offer U-Ship as an option if for no other reason than to rate-shop for comparison there is ALOT to be said for going with a known and proven carrier... especially with something precious worth lots of dough.
 Just to be a nice guy if anyone wants to ship me a kick@$$ LSx I am perfectly willing to rate the carriers services and report back on pro's/con's in exchange for me keeping the engine. I'm just that nice of guy.
:thankyou:

+1 that was my point earlier. Jegs for example... this engine with free shipping + GMPP warranty under 7K you can get a kit with Muscle car Swap pan and GMPP harness + Ecu for under 10....

I never looked at Jegs. They list a few LS3's. form $6,192 to $8,785 and a couple of them are carb'd. Neither of them come have all of the accessories so I think this engine is priced fair at $9,000 and looking at the trans prices, new they are close to 4k so $1,500 for the trans is a decent price I guess. The ones that are close to comparable have the harness, pedal and ecu.
Like I said, Not my stuff. Just trying to lend a hand in selling it.
