I have a 70 chevelle and I installed rear upper and lower adjustable control arms. I measured the stock length control arms and duplicated the length on the adjustables and installed. The car always sat higher on the passenger side and still does with the adjustables. I originally thought the springs were the culprit so I recently replaced them all. The car still sits 1.25" higher on the passenger side (front and rear). I'm now thinking I must have too much preload in the bars. What is the process of setting these solid mount adjustable bars up and get the car sitting level again? Is there something else that I'm not thinking about? Thanks

There should not be any bind from the bushings if its an aftermarket unit if installed correctly. The only major thing that will change by adjusting the links is the pinion angle and axle center....If I read it right.

Can you tell us about your front suspension? Are the springs seated propery? Equally indexed? How old are they? What type of bushings?

One way to narrow it down would be to jack up the front suspension a support it equally. Then check the rear heights.

The front springs are new and just installed not sure about the bushings. They are BMR 1" drop springs and they are equally indexed and seated properly too I think.

I would make sure the front end isn't holding you up.

I had my first day off in three weeks today so I looked the car over and low and behold the passenger front spring was out of the bucket. I put it in correctly and now the car sits 1/4" high on the drivers side but I can live with that. Anyone know how much the spring will settle and how long that will take? Do the rear spring settle much? Thanks again for the replies.
