Finally after 6 long years, I got my baby back! I built her from scratch in 2003/2004, then because I never drove her, I sold her to Brad (Allfaith). From the day she left, I have been trying to get her back. About 10 days ago, I was talking to Brad and finally convinced him to sell her back to me. I just got her back on Sunday. I couldn't sleep for the past week! I just want to thank Brad for taking care of her and only putting 800 miles on her.:)
I have already taken her by Eric@ Griffith's Metal, he was the talent that just finished my '71 Camaro. We plan on doing some updates to her, new upper & lower a-arms, new spindles, front runner, new wheels and tires. I plan on driving her alot! I am building a new home and with a special "man cave" for her and her friends, she will have a special place there...

Congrats SW! Nice garage, can't wait to see what you do for upgrades as well as a mancave for the toys!
Just a question I notice the lift is not bolted to the floor? Makes me nervous with such nice cars.

Thanks, I actually built it completely then in late 2006 I sent it to DSE and had them mini tubb it, build the exhaust system, fuel system, subframe connectors and install the Baer brakes.

Hahaha, thanks again for taking care of her, I'm sure you will find something soon! Btw, I might take the bird back off the hood, but everyone likes it..:)

I have never bolted any of my 4 post lifts down, not too many earthquakes here in TX.:)
Here are the plans for the Man Cave..

what brand lift is that? My new house has 12ft ceilings so I think I may be able to fit a lift! :headscratch:

Better have that house done by May when a group is coming down for the V8 Supercar race! We'll want silk sheets.... and HD TV's... and plenty of cigars!
And keys to the cars so we can get around.

It's from Direct Lift. Yes, 12ft is plenty of height.

Congrats on getting Her back.
That is one very nice T/A...:trophy-1302:
That car is perfect! The wheels completely make the car too. Are they the same offset and backspacing that would normally fit the car or did the suspension upgrades change those specs? I'm wondering how those wheels would look setup for my Tran Am and stock for stock my car shares the same requirements as yours does..:thankyou:
Very functional and flowing floor plan.
The garage space is, let's say, adequate. :D
The TA is spectacular! The 70-73's have always captured my attention, lines ahead of their time similar to Studebaker. Considering the "friends" that TA is keeping ii speaks volumes as to the design.......IMO.

i dont see how you can be so jazzed about the bird, when you have so many other bad azz toys....
hush you!
I'm sure SW will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this car was one of the earlier ones he did. I think he did this one before he did his black 69 with the machined finished components. Regardless, for me it just captures what I really like about the PT style. It keeps its original lines and styling but added to it with a great stance, wheels, and good hardware to make it handle and stop as well as it looks. It blended old and new while being functional.

Exactly, I have always been a Trans AM guy ever since high school, they have a special place in my heart. I looked at several nice T/A's over the past 6 years but this red car was always in the back of my mind. I guess it's because it was my first build..It's not the latest/greatest but it's perfect for me. The '71 Camaro has all the new stuff on it.

I remember when you had matching red / white / blue TAs! And then the TTIIs, replaced with the CL205s and then lowered and then... and then... and then...
I love them all SW!! Each one has that recognizable SW look and stance!
Glad to see her home my friend!!!!
