I stopped by TLTRacetek to find major progress has been made to Jim Mulvey's 69 Camaro. The car is on the ground with a full custom exhaust, Marquez Design trim, and the engine ready to fire. All that's left is to wire the dash, button up the interior and complete the last minute details. Then it's time for a good shakedown.

Cool pics Steve. That is a very nice example of an all motor car. Sweet. Hey, could you tell me what setup that is for the valve cover breathers ?
Thanks.

I'm confused. Don't "all" cars that have Paddle Shifters have floor shifters?

The floor shifter will have manumatic functions as well....shifting will be controlled via the paddle shifters or the floor shifter when it is in the "tiptronic" gate.

I should clarify: World's first "Hot Rod" application of both paddle shifter and floor shifter......
To date, all of the paddle shifted cars have retained old school, 100% mechanical floor shifters. This car will be able to perform electronic gear changes from either device.
Dern .mac webpages do not allow for much text.

AWESOME!!! :hail: I love the shifter gate....and the close-out panel is probably one of the nicest "new" parts out there for a 1st gen. That beast is top notch!

Air bags have their place, just not on any of my cars.

Same here.. although if I had an old Lincoln Continetal with suicide doors I would most likely change my tune..
I can't wait to see Jim's car done.. I want to get my 21st Century subframe done and on the test track!! :willy:
