We have just started carrying these. We are Running a Special on these through the end of April!

While these are NOT cheap, they sure beat the China HID junk ballasts and Draw less than 2 amps which means no extra wiring and LED is far superior to H4, HID ect....Some high end OEM's are even switching to LED's :hapdance:

Some minor Bucket mods will need to be made on the 7" (Very minor and easy) the 5 3/4" will typically require a little more mods but its WELL worth it

They are Made in the USA :patriot: by JW Speaker. They are well known for making lots of industrial lighting and OEM Automotive headlights since the 1930's. These are NOT toys!

The housing is Cast Aluminum and the Lens Polycarbonate....Nice quality

Love to see some shots of these installed. Especially the chrome ones.

I'd like to see a side-by-side comparison with these and BMW E39 HIDs, which I currently have in my car...

I have a pair of these on my '68 and the OLC should have a set installed in the next few days. Carl Casanova has a pair in his '68.
They are worth every penny.

We are expecting some in next week so we can play with them.

The main advantage in IMO is the super low current draw at about 2 amps so no relays/re-wire needed, ultra clean, projected light. No need for a ballast and bulbs that do go bad eventually....

LED light is different than HID in color and flood projection.

A factory self leveling HID system is going to be quite a bit different than an aftermarket HID system.

These headlights are DOT legal as well.....

I will post more once we get the lights and "play" with them

:thankyou:

Don't get me wrong, I'm quite intrigued by these.
I have a complete E39 conversion on my current car using the BMW leveling sensors and motors. I did this not for the "wow factor" but more for vision, my night vision has diminished a little and these made a huge difference for me. It's a great system but very complex and I don't see a really good way of doing it on a car with 7" lights without major expense.
The light pattern and intensity with the HID set-up is perfect for me and if I can approach those levels with these I'd be thrilled!

The output level is said to be just right, we have seen pics in the dark with cars/trucks running them!

To meet DOT specs they have to be right, the cheapie stuff does NOT meet DOT for the most part.

I know these are not for everyone but for those who have higher end builds or drive at night a lot, its a great investment...that only needs to be made once

We are still awaiting our demo lights so we can test them out.

We will report back once we have them in hand!

Thanks
