I have an old style spectra gas tank. out of warranty. this does not have the new baffle installed on it and it has starvation issues at about 1/4 tank. Can I modify the tank? weld a new baffle in? not me personaly but a shop. I am still running the stock pump does anyone have the walbro part number to upgrade this pump? I have searched and I did find some part numbers but it seems a few people have run different part numbers on these. can anyone confirm the pump they used?
Thanks,
Jorge

I believe Tanks Inc has a fuel pump with a built in tray on the bottom to serve as a baffle.

ok i will have to check out their site. is it a drop in for the spectra tank or universal? thanks for the info.
EDIT: I gave them a call part number PA-4 $235.00. looks like its a universal fit for any stock or aftermarket stock style tank.

I might try to modify my existing spectra baffle first and if I can't figure it out I might have to go that route. has anyone modified the tank baffle before? can it be done? and is it worth it?
