I wonder if that is what Ford intended when they sold the new Raptor. I doubt warranty covers that?

Glad it wasnt me in the passenger seat.
Hey!.............hold my beer and watch this.......
One or both probably have a few compressed/damaged disks in their spine that will remind them of the jump for years to come. :lostmarbles:
How extensive is the damaged to the truck? :G-Dub: :lmao:

Just guessing but judging by the way the truck was all cockeyed and how the tail gate had come undone Im going to say frame is totaled out - therefore the truck is totaled. Guarantee the suspension to frame mounting is fooked beyond repair.

No doubt it's a total, it would be interesting to know just how extensive the structural damage really is considering it did have a decent launch and landing attitude in the jump. :)

I wonder what they thought would happen without a landing ramp? Not only does he have to pay for repairs he should get a nice bill from the emergency crew. Kids, don't try this at home.

I would be willing to bet that truck is totaled now.

They need air bags under their butts (azz-bags). :D

Back when I was a real redneck with a mullet me and a few buddies pitched in and bought a 1970 Nova for $150 and proceeded to beat the snot out of it until it broke. It survived many a ditch and who knows how many things we ran it into. The demise was when the tie rod popped off cruising through McDonalds where the car sat for a week or so. Then we sold it and recovered half the cost. The new owner attached the tie rod with a cloths hanger and drove it home.
Then there was the 1978 Caprice Classic I bought from my buddy for $150. It had the rare option of drop in tin floor board mats which replaced the real floors. It was convenient for disposing of beer cans driving down the road. My buddy drove it down gravel roads with no air cleaner and never changed the oil before I became the lucky owner. Who needs a heater in December in Iowa. I drove this gem in the Winter time until the master cylinder became erratic. Not wanting to make such a huge investment, I sold it to another friend for $75. With full disclosure about the erratic brakes, we took it out for a spin. He must have had some short term memory loss. When we pulled into his Mom's driveway, he hit the brakes an nothing happened. Next thing I know we are crashing through her garage door. Everytime I went over there from that day forwad and his Mom was around, she would chaffe his ass over that garage door. She has the constant reminder because my buddy took it upon himself to fix it. All while breaking his hand in the process and it rarely worked for Mom.

Here's what Camjob showed me...
"on this site it's real easy. Copy the video number (after the v= on the you tube address box), in this case tBDLf58RZN4. Click on the you tube box above (the slanted film looking thing) and paste it between the [you tube] and [/you tube] boxes".

You guys would be surprised what an insurance company will fix. I'm sure that truck's front rails are bent so it'll need a frame- no big deal as we do them all the time. We recently did a $23k repair on a 2011 Raptor that took a Peter Pan off a local bridge. The airbag is no biggie, but what adds up on a Raptor are those stupid Fox shocks. $800 a corner for those wanna be parts through Ford plus all of the special Raptor mounting parts make the bill skyrocket.
What would total that truck is if the cab is now diamond shapped. That thing took that hit hard on the right front corner. I'd bet the door gaps are done and the cowl is a diagonal plane now. Buying a cab for one of these dudes in huge coin because it jacks the paint time through the roof on the estimate, plus it's a dash/airbag/interior out ordeal. Either way- that was a stupid thing to do is what's basically a regular F150 with Fox shocks and control arms.
