65 Impala Convert PT makeover

Here's a teaser shot of an in-process car. The customer came in wanting his car to drive safe. He said when he reached down to change the channel the car would change lanes! I said "we can fix that."
Complete Ride Tech suspension. Baer brakes, Rushforth wheels, Pilots Sport tires should help.

The customer added a 420 Hp 383 and Bowtie Overdrive's tranny to the list for good measure. We are installing a Vintage Air system for those rare 80+ days in Washington.

Now we are talking! I'm actually working on a 65 Impala SS at the moment that was given to me a few months ago. After struggling with a direction I've decided with a pro touring "lite" version. The "lite" signifies how my tight budget is (LOL) and building the ride more for weekend cruising with the family than auto crossing. I'm so looking forward to this build.
