I have watched some of your builds on pro-touring. We live really close to each other, nice to see someone local building another pro-touring car. Not many in this area. Will be sweet once its done. I need to check it out sometime.

Great stuff. Was hoping you'd throw that 18 degree in this. :guns:

18 degree is going in. Took some compression out so it would be pump gas. Picture shows the aluminum block 18 degree engine in it.

Rear I have the speedtech Torque arm with ridetech coilovers.....front I have hotchkis tubular a-arms with ridetech coilovers. I had the full hotchkis TVS suspension on it before and was very happy with it but switching to larger rear tires I decided to change directions...

What's you initial impression of the TA? I'm considering going that route versus a four or three link setup for my Trans Am. It'll be a while before I ever get it done so I have plenty of time to gather reports and impressions.

Thanks

I like the way the torque arm is made and I think it will perform well. I hope to be on the road in a month or so.

I decided to make my own Finch style fuel and rear end vent. Then I made an adapter so it went in the original fuel vent location. No need to buy when I can make my own.

Very cool Mike! Couple of questions for you, one who's makes your hood? And two how much for the grill??? Opps one more if you have more of the grills will it work with the stock sheet metal?

Awesome car!

Looks great, Mike. So how's the TA suspension working for you? Also, what seats are those?

k7king
06-09-2013, 08:36 AM
Hood is Anvil.....The grill would fit the RS nose. PM if your interested. Its expensive. Material alone is $300......

So far I'm really liking the Torque arm. I can't wait to get it back on the Autocross. Last time out I had zero rear brakes since the axle seals were improperly installed be ME and soaked the rear brakes.

Seats are Mazda RX8 with some custom brackets I made.
