Burke can be douche. He's probably got the biggest EGO for a GM in any sport. Smart guy, but sometimes should just shut his trap.

Burke was considered a coup IIRC for the Leafs to get him. I didn't follow what he did or didn't do I just found the timing of the firing to be curious. :)

Maybe a close second to Burke...this towns team (Sabres) way too long tenured GM Darcy Regier.

He used to GM my local team the Canucks, and did a fine job of taking them from the basement to a competitor. But he seems like a tough guy to get along with from owners and media side of things.
