Our latest build is a Pro-touring 1969 Camaro for Rob and Jennifer Pitts (RPitts http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=39801). We started with all brand new sheet metal from Dynacorn. Art Morrison front, and rear clip with center subframe connectors. Mini tubbed to fit the 20x11 Billet Specialties wheels with a 315/35ZR20 Michelin tire in the rear. The rear clip features a triangulated 4-bar with 9" housing. The front clip features full Corvette C6 suspension components. Using Wilwood 14.5 Rotors on all 4 corners with a 6 piston in the front and 4 in the rear. Front wheel is a 19x8.5.
More to come...

The build features a Flowmaster full stainless steel exhaust system. Starting with their very first set of Flowmaster Scavenger Series Elite 409S LS headers, 3" U-fit kits, built in H-pipe and custom made set of Super 44 Series Mufflers.

Yeah, yeah -- nobody around here likes '69 Camaro's. Well.... except 99.9% of the members. Rob and 3 other guys like Torino's. We've tried to help them but we haven't had any success.
Nice looking project -- and good builder choice.
Just one question... 'cause I've always wondered. Did you work out the cost of all the "stuff" that you need to buy to build a body (and maybe you don't care - I wouldn't) - and is it cheaper or about the same as buying a body and having to hang panels and replace floors etc.
I have always thought that the only way to come out on the Dynacorn body was to have a "bad" complete car - that you could take all the little stuff you need off of it. You know - like all the door innards - and stuff like that.

Welcome, Zane! Great project you have going there, it's the first Dynacorn build I've seen here so far (although, I've only been a member for a couple of months)!

The floor after DSE trans cross-member installed, Art Morrison subframe connectors welded in, floor bubbled to make room for our 3" exhaust to keep everything level with the bottom of the frame.
Hurst Driveline Conversions T56 Elite kit.

I was very impressed with body and so was the builder. Very thick steel and better then original welds. We did notice the rear frame rails were the heavier gauge steel. I think they use same for both convt and hardtop. With seeing some rust horror stories on here I think this was the way to go. Didn’t matter because we removed for the Morrison rear frame. Didn’t see any of the surfaces galvanized.

Good call Greg. I am of the opinion that you still need a donor car to really consider a Dynacorn. that being said if the 1/4's and trunk and floor then you really need to consider that there WILL be other rust to deal with, at that point it is time to consider a body.

Looks like we are all going to be in for a treat seeing this one being built.
Do you have a time frame "build schedule" for this project?
