View Full Version : Full Set-C6 Z06 Calipers. Rotors, Lines. Pads
Full set of two front and two rear calipers pads, rotors, and lines from my C6Z. The calipers include the pad pins which are generally sold separately when buying them new. The pads have at least 80% left. All items are in excellent condition and the calipers have no grind marks and the red paint is in very good condition.
The price is $1,100 shipped within the CONUS. Paypal is ok (verified for over 8 years). I can get pics by the end of the week.

Well, I believe I officially got F'd over by this guy. I paid for these back in January and it's been a nightmare since the deal was made, but I was nothing but patient with this guy until now. It's freaking May... I received the rotors 3 months after paying and that's it. He told me multiple times the calipers shipped and they didn't. I have not been able to reach him since about the time I got the rotors. I can't seem to get much help from anyone here to reach Frank either. I just can't believe people like this are allowed to be on this site after they screw people over. I doubt I am the only one that has gotten screwed by this guy and I would hate for anyone else to go through the same thing. I hope this will be enough to get him booted. I had every piece of this car budgeted out to get it done by June, I mean down to the penny.. Not happening now. :bang:

As an FYI, he has not signed on since March. We turned off his ability to post ads a while back. I gave you all the info I have, I hope you end up with some resolution.

Yeah, it's beyond that point. Unfortunately I was a little more patient and trusting than I should have been.

Same here... I thought about it too but decided to wait which I'm glad I did.
Wish there was a way we as a group could all pitch in to help in these situations. I'd be willing to PayPal $25 to help recoop the loss. Anyone else want to join in? Pay it forward in advanced.

That would be great. He lives in Laredo, TX. If that is close to ya I'll PM you the address I have. I'll at least give you gas money and a service fee. Thanks for the offer! And I hear ya, would hate for this to happen to anyone else and I am more than willing to help anyone here with an issue in my neck of the woods

Honestly that is a great idea and I would be willing to do the same for someone else in the same situation, but I don't think I could accept it. This along with markss28's offer to help out reminds me of why this site is great despite the people that try ruin it by taking advantage of people that trust in the site and it's members. It's people like you guys that really make the site successful.

I'm really sorry as well. I've sold and bought several things here before and always considered it a great forum for honest transactions.
I've been busy at times (getting married, work, just plain stuff that life throws at you), so I'm as guilty as anyone regarding tardy responses. But when someone has money on the line, I always try to give that very high priority. Do onto your neighbors type of thing......
Anyways, I wish you the absolute best outcome possible and hope this is a secluded incident where the seller has a honest excuse. Best of luck my friend.

Sorry to hear news like this Nick, hope you get it resolved. This could happen to any one of us. I am more trusting and I always feel pretty comfortable purchasing from this group on Lat G so far all my transactions have been positive. I really hope as the site has become even more widely known it doesn't attract the dirtbags that are out there trying to scam people.
Good luck Nick

All transactions before this one were great and usually ended up in some good bs'n about our cars which I enjoy about as much as building one. Maybe there is still a chance the guy isn't trying to short me and has an honest excuse. Guess all I can do is be optimistic about the situation and hope that the help I'm getting here gets things resolved cause I really want to see those calipers on my car. I appreciate the hopefulness. Thanks!

Just wanted to let everyone know I have since heard from Frank and actually received the brakes the other day and they look great! He was in fact in the hospital and is now doing better. Anyways, for anyone in the future doing business with Frank, he is an honest guy and I wouldn't hesitate to snag another good deal offered up by him down the road. Thanks Frank and I'm glad your doing better!

That's great Nick. All my dealings with Frank have gone smooth and I consider him a LatG friend. I really hope his health improves!
