Just a note, I changed the image, this is the most up to date version.

thanks alot, that is the final rendering and car will duplicate the art work, the stripe main color and wheel color may vary, but will be very close to what is pictured in art work.
I am glad some of you guys like it, thanks alot

First there was "Body by Jake" now there's "Camaro by Jake". I gotta say other than a few suggestions the car was really designed by Jake. He has a pretty clear vision of what he wants his car to be and it shows. A Street Fighter in the making. One of my favorite details is the eye brow stripes. This was also a detail that Jake wanted from the beginning I just interpreted it and helped develop it. I look forward to seeing this car come to life in the flesh, eer, steel I mean!

Darned fine work, Johnny. Now that you're done with this one, can I get some lovin'!?
Jake's car should be a really cool machine, I think he has a terrific plan for it, and the appearance scheme that the two of you settled on is perfect, just right.

That is soooooooo freaking bad-ass.. very nice.. I think that gives Penny a run for her money in the "angry looking" car competition.. lol
How ya gonna pull off that front spoiler? I really like it.. hell, I like the whole thing.
Is there a pic of the real car "under construction"?? :)

lol, thanks, yes scott will be helping me put up a page for progress pics, most all fab work is done, car is on its wheels getting bodywork, roll bar and mock up, .
motor is done and being asembled this week, tranny is here, rear susp is done, front frame is primed, hope to have motor on dyno by end of month, then paint in first week of may, then assembly, which should go somewhat smoothly as everything will be assembled once before paint, well everything i can possibly do.
anyway i have plenty of pics of construction, but it will be more photo genic in a week or so when its all one color in primer.

Hum, wonder what that means?
I have been holding a secret on this one for a while. Jake honored me in sharing renderings, and further honored me in asking my opinion a few weeks ago. He had it nailed, really did not need any input from me. Looks killer. Can't wait to get some shots of this one and Prodigy on the Power Tour! Damn there are going to be some baddass cars in our group. Now get to work Jake, and quite waiting for the next post!

well it did not make it but it is not dead in the water either, its at a friends now and we are finishing the roll cage this weekend then its back for primer and paint finnaly, heres a pic or two. it looks high but do not think that, the roof is 49 inches off the ground and the watts mount is 5.5 inches off the ground. the tin valve covers are just to keep things clean until i get my fabbed alum ones, the pic on the trailer is me heading to a buddys who builds chassis and cages to install the cage out of 1-3/4, .134 dom

Jake, that cage looks good. Hell, everything on the car looks great so far. Was there going to be a passenger seat in the car? Were you going to run a harness for them? Just wondering since the cross bar only goes half way. Or was that not done yet when the picture was taken?
68protouring454

yes there will be a cross bar for a pass it was just not in whenthe pic was taken, there is a bar there now.
