I've got the Camaro back, and I have no idea how to drive it anymore. All you should have to do to win against me is show up in a big heavy new car to kick my ass at the track. It will be like last year, except we will have switched places.

it states on the SO CAL CHALLENGE (http://www.socalchallenge.com/) site its open to all American powered cars and trucks, so if your import has a chevy or ford motor you're ok

It looks like the web site is updated with new graphics and 2013 sign up info. I don't know if I am going to get my car finished for GG in March, so I think this would be a lot of fun.

Is there any where to stay near Riverside that isn't super sketchy?

No. LOL.

Depends how close to AMS you want to stay. A bunch of places to stay near the Ontario Mills Mall on 4th street off the 15 frwy. About 15-25 min from the track depending on traffic. Plus nice places to eat as well.

Tom, I live about 40-50 minutes from Adams. If it comes down to it you're more than welcome to stay here.

Haha, at the last SoCal Challenge event a couple of us stayed at the Holiday in Express in Colton (Riverside area) it was about 10min away. Apparently the first floor wasn't bad, but the second floor that I was staying on smelled like a grow house. I don't know why but I think I remember really hungry when I woke up.

As TurboLark said, the Rancho Cucamonga area/Ontario Mills is good if you're looking for somewhere close by.

The Mission Inn is an absolutely AWESOME hotel that's 5 minutes from Adam's. www.missioninn.com My wife and I actually stay there once a year even though we only live a few minutes from there.

However if you're in your car I'd say Valet. They do have a parking structure in the back. I don't think there is any truck/trailer parking but I could be wrong. The hotel is in a neat downtown area of Riverside.

Are you trailering your car out here or just driving it?

haha, last time I stayed at some place only a few miles away from AMP, and I was seriously concerned about my car all night. Didn't help that there were a few cop cars with lights on at the mini-mart across the street when I pulled in.

I was thinking up near the Ontario Mills Mall area. Stayed around there before.

Appreciate it Jon! I'll definitely keep it in mind.

Wow, that looks a bit too fancy for my tastes. I'll be driving my car.

Ontario Mills area is good and not that far...there is a Doubletree and Holiday Inn near Mark Christopher Chevrolet in Ontario nearer to airport or Embassy Suites off I think 10 freeway and Haven that is right next to the new Mercedes dealer...
