In a news conference yesterday facing the 'enemy'... one of whom reported that he's not happy in his job. IMO this pic once again disproves the myth that all 'husky' people are jolly...

LoL!!

Ok, what is really the drama up there?!? Seriously, why in the heck did they buy Tebow if they ain't gonna touch him?? I mean really, he's worse than Sanchez?!? No way, they can't be any worse with him holding the ball!

Why the bizzare choice?

As a UGA grad and fan who didn't think a rushing QB was all that great, especially one at UF, I hate seeing Tebow basically benched. I think he's good enough to play and is a hell of a role model. I'd really hate to see his career go nowhere. I don't care anything about pro sports so I can't really comment beyond wanting to see Tebow excel.

Popular opinion is that Woody Johnson, the owner, told them to trade for Tebow.

Like most losing teams they have a lot of issues. Lack of talent is the biggest analysts agree.

Ryan is extremely loyal to his players and publicly said he would never bench Sanchez. Not a good thing to promise...lol

The offensive coordinator they hired is 'offensive'. The Dolphins 'gain' is the J-E-T-S loss.

Their best,by far, wide receiver is injured. Their line is terrible.

Their GM is a 'cap guy', not a nuts and bolts 'football guy'.

Like many NFL coaches that have success (winning playoff games) word has it Ryan gets a strong say in who is drafted. Well, whoever has been picking them college boys, it has not gone well overall.

They extended Sanchez's contract after an average season last year to a very team unfriendly contract, apparently to appease him after the Tebow trade.

Several theories on why they didn't start Tebow. Word has it he will not be on the Jets roster for the 2013 season. So why play him?

Popular opinion also is that if they played him and the Jets won, the obvious question would be why didn't Ryan make the move while they still had a chance for the playoffs?

So most think it is likely he is just avoiding that scenario.

As you may know, Tebow doesn't usually look good in practice. But even some great qb's didn't practice well, so that is no excuse.

Ryan has kept saying he believed Sanchez gave them a better chance to win.

Reporters brought up the point that the Tebow led Broncos beat them 2x last year. To that he replied that he doesn't look in his rear view mirror.

That though IMO contradicts Ryan being loyal to his players because of what they've done in the past. Like Sanchez.

Like the fictional NYC visitors bureau rep said to George Costanza when he was pretending to 'move' to the Big Apple..."It'll eat you alive!"

Right now it seems that a wolf isn't at Rex's door...but more like a pack of wolves has him surrounded. ;)

This is the reporter he's blaming for the report he'd prefer to leave the Jets..

Manish Mehta ‏@MMehtaNYDN (https://twitter.com/MMehtaNYDN) Rex Ryan spoke to me on Thursday, fully aware that the entire conversation was off the record and therefore not to be reported. #nyj (https://twitter.com/search?q=%23nyj&src=hash)

Interesting tweet yesterday for sure.

And just a few minutes ago he posted this with the above pic.

Manish Mehta ‏@MMehtaNYDN (https://twitter.com/MMehtaNYDN) Rex Ryan is amenable to working in television next year, per sources. Story: http://tinyurl.com/cgtwsqk (http://t.co/3SYJNE5R) #nyj (https://twitter.com/search?q=%23nyj&src=hash)

2 owners in the NFL wanted Tebow. 0 coaching staffs wanted him.

Their GM is a 'cap guy', not a nuts and bolts 'football guy'.

I believe the Jets are over the cap. The owner has a right to be pissed.

The truth of the matter is Tebow has been cut from the team already. He will be released after this season.

Go Niners!

They have some serious owner/management issues up there for sure! And this is coming from a Chiefs fan!!! LoL!!!

On the Niners, they better play harder than they did against the SeaTurtles if they want to go all the way! But I'd like for KC to pick up Alex next year.... But they're prolly not that smart!! LoL!:willy:

We are taking the win tomorrow. Minnesota will pull the upset and everything will be as it should, lol.
I think Alex's agent is going to busy this off season. I think some team is going to be getting a great q.b. in Alex next year.
