What is the easiest way to get more power out of my LS1.
Mine is from a 2000 Camaro. I think it has arounf 320hp now.
What options do I have and what does it cost?
Looking to spent not more than $ 1000

New Camshaft and a good Re-Tune will get you in the 400rwhp range

x2 or since you're an auto, a better torque converter and a retune of the shift points. Might as well use whatever power you have now more efficiently.
Don't forget the other stuff that really wakes these engines up like headers and better exhaust if it doesn't already have that. You also have intake and throttle body changes. LS6 intake alone will work well. A small cam wouldn't hurt but I'd change the converter first before I did a small cam.
I did a really good cam, 1 7/8 headers, Fast 90 mm intake, 90 mm PTM TB TB, 5.3 stage III heads, 2.5 inch exhaust and a custom 4 inch CAI with an LS3 or blade MAF. Got 460/400 to the wheels. On the cam, lots of guys seem to go for the big lopey huge lift cams, I would recommend looking for the most out of the torque side, flow match the cam and heads. Also, agree with the above posts on the gears and stall
