So what do you do when your mates parents are knocking down their warehouse/factory.
Well get your mates and their drift cars and have some fun of course. We did this a little over a month ago on a Sunday for about 4 hours in an industrial area of Perth, Western Australia. Cops came and spoilt the fun after recieving about 3 hours worth of noise complaints.

how come their cars look like crap? bumpers falling off or not even there, side shirts hanging down, all dented up, miss matched wheels, I raced for a year in my car and mine dosnt look like those POS buckets, clean those turds up then I would be impressed, with a sweet car doing some drifts

Those cars look like that because there is a nasty learning curve to the drift game LOL. Awesome video, you guys were driving the piss out of those cars!

Race your car side by side with others? A liitle tough to rough up a bumper when all your doing is dodging cones.
I dont think the appearance of the cars was the point here. besides, drifters not only race side by side but also beween barricades.
Huge difference between drifting and cone dodging.
Nice clip guys, I enjoyed it.

Eeerrrr did you just compare autocross to drifting ?
If you have ever popped a tyre in anger you might notice a bit of rubber lash on your guards and pretty common for a FIBREGLASS flare to get ripped off. These guys beat the hell out of their cars and aren't afraid of a little damage. Its all part of the fun and if you have ever watched a drift event without big name sponsered cars I'm sure your veiw would change. Just because their cars look a liitle rough doesnt mean they can't drive as per the video clearly showed.
I challenge you to get your beautifully presented car and go drift in an abandoned warehouse and do better.
And as for mismatched wheels I'm not even going to respond to that one.

Not a Hater, we have drifters at our practice events all the time, what I'm saying is it doesn't cost a thing to wash the cars get all the crap off them put some screws in to hold the panels on (even at our practice events the drift guys have holes drilled in the panels and zip-ties holding them on for easy removal) and Rattle can the wheels to make the car look better, it will garner more respect from the masses and there peers
its cheap to wash the car, zip tie a panel, and rattle a panel/rim

Rad! Looks like fun to me, I did notice that one of the guys shorts were dirty and another one hadn't combed his hair... What's the lil brown car with the white rims?

Haha. The brown car is an '82 ke Toyota Corolla. It's running a forged CA 18 turbo'd motor. Makes about 270rwhp but soon to be about 350 with a new computer, cams and E85. Weighs about 700kg so makes for a bloody quick little car.

I loved the tire smoke pouring out of the fuel door on the Sylvia. Bad ass action and certainly some skills there. Drifting's never been my thing, but I know a good time when I see one!

It wasn't a practice, just dudes beating on cars in a warehouse before it gets torn down.
Maybe it was short notice?
I race motocross, several times a year someone will call and say so and so is coming over to ride and he is bringing a buddy, do you want to ride? I usually load up the bike, still a mess from the last outing and head over. Should I have said I need to wash the bike first and replace the tweaked front fender so it looks good? Before I head over? I most certainly take the time to prep the bike before a race or a planned practice, but when the chance to ride comes up unexpected, I jump on it, bike a mess or not!

I think getting your a$$ handed to you by a POS looking car on the track will earn respect too ;)
