Was wondering what people think of two tone on a muscle car..im on the fence with my car and hoping it will grow on me more. I think i'll stick with a solid color next time..what is your opinion?

Car looks great Lutzy, really like that blue. I think it can go either way depending on color and where the line is. You nailed it, nicely done sir.

I have been contemplating this exact same layout on my 68 Camaro. I like the way it looks.

Solid color here. Never scene a 2 tone paint job I liked. I really liked your last 69' I was a bidder on it. Just short on money at the time.

I like it. I actually am considering it for my project (not a 1st gen). Just contacted HD for a quote on a rendering.

I have to look at the photos later at home, but seems they are blocked here.
I always preferred a solid color for my 67 RS Camaro, but it is based on that person's tastes. A friend of mine painted his 69 Cutlass a two tone (in early 1990's) that looked rather cool. If you remember the Bereta Green color of the 1990 pace car. Here is the wiki on it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:1990_Chevy_Beretta_Indy_Pace_Car_Replica.jpg
His Cutlass was painted that color, with a black vinyl top, and the top of the 442 hood was painted gloss black. The bumpers were flush with the body, but it did well in all the shows. So, it depends on the car and how it is done.

Nay. Solid color fan myself but if its your car paint it whatever YOU like. Its your money your spending.....

It looks good and it looks done well. I have seen some that the line seperating the two didn't look right. However, I am going with one color and possibly different gloss levels of same color.

Agreed and ultimately your car and your money. I personally woudl steer away form two tones, kind of ages some cars (A lot of two tons look like 80's Prostreet of sorts), while a solid color never goes out of style.
On the other hand saw some killer two tones at Sema, a satin black top and glossy black bottom as well as the orange producer Stang.
But again, you will get tired (as you may now, thus your question), of the dual tone after a while. I painted all my last projects solid and have zero regrets (I almost did a dual tone on the maro and am so glad I did not!!)
