I am putting a L76 6.0L engine out of a 2009 pontiac G8 into my 67 Camaro. I need a bracket to relocate the alternator to the upper passenger side. From what I can tell, my pulley setup is the same as the LS3 08 and up Corvette setup. Is this correct? If so, is it better to use a stock vette bracket or an aftermarket one.
Thanks in advance

^ Not an expert in year specific Vette bracketry but I think you're incorrect? Unless you're Aussie or Brittish the Vette drive puts the Alt on the high, driver side.

Wow I completely screwed that up. I meant to say the upper driver side. Sorry for the confusion - no wonder I didn't get many replies :unibrow:
Ok - same question but alternator on the driver side

I just used the Holley bracket check it out it fits vett f body and truck all measured off the crank pulley. The web site has all the measurements but beware to order spacer kit if you aren't using corvette crank pulley. You will also need to change to a vett steering pump.
