Hi guy's The wife and I are looking to get a portable DVD player for my daughter to use for my new grad son while driving across country. She wants the kind that hangs on the head rest. My other daughter suggested RCA. Anyone know of a decent DVD?
Thanks

Well, I recommend that you get an Ipad. DVD's are thing of the past. Need a mount? Here is one. http://www.arkon.com/iPad_accessories/ipad-headrest-mount.html
The primary advantage with an Ipad is that you can use this free software app called handbrake. Handbrake is available for windows or Mac OSX Convert the movies into m4v format. I took my Ipad on the plane, and everyone else seemed to have the same idea. I just had the 16Gb Ipad, but was able to put several movies on the Ipad. There is apps, games, etc. DVD is rather limited to only movies and the small screen.
You can also download movies via ultraviolet, Itunes, etc.
If you are looking for a DVD then you might be limited to RCA. Kenwood does have one, but it is not hanging type.

We have ipads with the full cover. You can load a ton of movies on them, hang them by a strap from the headrest and they'll last all day. We have gone through several factory installed DVD players, as well as a few of the Panasonic DVD players. We like the ipads much better.

No question....iPad or other tablet
More uses... More portable.... And some tweaker isn't going to smash your window and grab it while you are in the grocery store
More $$ but you can use it for a ton of stuff... Not just DVDs
