Utah is a unique animal. I went to school in Cedar City many years ago. The adjustment was different, hopefully it will be smooth for you. You have family there?

Just out of curiosity, I have been lurking and waiting for someone to ask how you chose to move there from BC not knowing a sole, and no one has.
I am sure it's a nice town but did you through a dart on a map or what? I think what you did is cool! If it's personal no need to answer not trying to be nosy.
Blake Foster

We started the process using Darts...... but they all landed in places no one wanted to live like Detroit, Chicago, you know.
here is how we did it.
Does it snow X
does it rain X
are there earthquakes X
tornados X
hurricanes X
California X
go look at a map and tell me where you end up.
we also looked at Pheonix and a few other SW cities.
but this one was the size we likes the location is "central to California, Denver, SanFran, Pheonis Texas.
and the econimic health of Utah is impressive . there is actually alot of distribution here. Dollar Giant is building a 900,000 sqft distribution center for the Western States. They spent millions investigating where to locate and they picked the same town.
That doesn't mean we need any more shops here!!!
