I don't want to part out the engine or transmission. They are available either together or separately. This was what was originally going into my '69 Chevelle project; however I'm putting in something with a little more heat :D
6.2 L92 alum Escalade shortblock with approx 10K miles 100% stock
(only difference between LS3 engine is the pistons have valve reliefs in them)
Texas Speed LS3 freshly CnC ported heads with lightweight s/s valves, dual .675" lift springs ($2100)
LS2 timing chain, stock truck oil pump, LS7 lifters, Comp pushrods, LS3 rockers
MLS LS9 head gaskets, ARP head bolts, LS3 intake/inj/fuel rail (no TB), LS3 valley cover
no coil packs, no accessories, no wiring harness/PCM. Truck oil pan included.
With long tube headers this combo should make right around 500rwhp on 91 octane.
$6K FIRM
* your choice of cams: LG Motorsports G6x3 or Comp Cams
235/242 x115 cam
If you want a better oil pump or timing chain I can install them for free if you buy them. Also if you want rod bolts I can install them for free. I can also install any cam you want and credit you $300 for the above cams listed. You buy the new cam and/or rod bolts. I'm simply supplying free labor to assemble it.
* The above shortblock has the LS2/LS3 style rods which are good to around 800rwhp+. Many people are pushing them close to the 1000rwhp mark with stock shortblocks. Meaning if you wanted to... you can spray a healthy dose of nitrous or turbo charge this setup for well beyond 500rwhp. The LS9 head gaskets are great for boost/nitrous applications.
