Hello,

Can someone tell me if this bracket exist on a A-body 68-72 (Chevelle, Skylark, El Camino,....) equipped with a manual trans.

I bought this bracket from ThepartsPlace , and it doesn't work, it looks like it had been pressed on the wrong side !
Here is their answer to my refund request:

Hello,
They must have made 2 different designs at one point. The sales guy here think the bracket we made is for manual trans and the bracket you have a picture of looks like an automatic. The only thing we can offer is for you to send it back to us with a copy of your invoice with a note stating the reason for return and we will take care of it.
Thanks

the left one is from my El Camino, the right one from PartsPlace

It seems they try to glue me with strange stories about manual bracket that would be placed on the right side of the chassis !!! ???:_paranoid

And I must send the bracket back because of their fault ! :woot:
