Got a some what new project in the works. I've had it for a bit waiting on parts and stuff. It's a 1955 Chevy post. We already got the chassis from the Roadster Shop (Bad Dude!) Plans are for a Q.M.P. Racing Engines 1000HP plus Kenne Belle billet blown LS backed by a 4L80E 4 speed. So far I've smoothed the fire wall, mounted the Vintage air, mini tubed it and filled the old tire well and clearenced a few things on the interior of the floor. I guess the Roadster Shop hase'nt done to many parallel 4-links for the 55 and there's a few modes needed to the floor boards. No big deal that's what we do write. We also had to wait a bit on the spindal mount style bolt less Forglines before I ordered up the Bad Dude ZR-1 floater/Speedway housing and Wilwood equipped 14" 6 piston stoppers. Got it a roller last week and set up the panhard bar and had to make new sway bar end links to clear the end of the housing because the rear end was just a tad to short. The interior will end up with four buckets and a center console from front to back.

I'll try and keep up with more pics as progress moves forward. Enjoy!

Mark your right Post cars are the way to go. They are just a little different and that is what makes them so special.

ps That is why we did the 210 Post for my Dad

WOW !!!

It's been a fast 2 1/2 years since the last post.... So we are back on this Bad Dude.

Here's a few pics. Not much but its a start... Instead of the Kenne bell we went with a 4.5L Whipple to make this beast even more bad dude. We moved the motor/trans back 4-1/2" to make more room up front for the condesorn radiator and inner cooler and drive assembly. Were going to be using a Wegner set up with a 10 rib belt behind the front drive assembly. Everything is looking very promising according to Casey Wegner which he says is the first of its kind for a 4.5L on an LS.

We cut out the dash and inner structure to make room for the intake (which comes off the back of the blower) and twin CTS-V throttle bodies which will mount on each side of the fire wall just behind the inner fender wells to a hidden cold air/filter set-up
