I believe its on the gm performance parts website.

Fairway gm in Las Vegas Will be your best deal. Ask for Brad Oaks.

585 hp for that engine to me seems a little on the low side IMO.

Look at the torque number though!

plus from what i have found the rod angle is bad on these motors , and puts a heavy load on the piston and wall and wears the rings real quick .

if your intrested in a high hp ls try don hardy his ls engines are priced real real great and make big hp for the price . 806 790 3003

I have a gmpp lsx454 with the typical bolt ons. Car made 540hp and 570tq at the wheels in a humid august day here in pa... I was told by the tuner if I come back in these cooler fall months I can expect 560-570 and 590-600ish... If you have any questions please feel free to pm me or see my build thread:

you can get that kind of horsepower out of a 6.2 for less money

You can't get that kind of torque out of a 6.2 though.

I have no doubt that engine will make the advertised horsepower.

I've heard the same thing too from the guys at MAST. That's why they don't sale an LSx454 anymore for this reason alone. Also, I bump for Don Hardy Engines out of Floydada, TX...ask for Jeff.
