I have a quick question for the forum.
I noticed the 1968-1972 corvetts are very resonable 9K to 15 K so why are more people not building them?
Is the C3 worth building I looked at the Schwartz's 1968 looks very cool.

They are being built, just not members here. Its a shame cause they are cool. We have a 70 waiting in the wings.

Ever ridden in one? They are small on the inside and carry very little besides two people. They are great though. I love seeing them

Danny Popp has one (not certain of the year), and one also participated at Optima a couple years ago. Very cool cars IMO when done PT style.

I have been building and tracking a 86 C4 .Compete in Midwestern Council events .
Ive had the car for three years and have around 10k in it . Most of the 69s around here start out as 12 thousand dollar cars that need another 12K in body panels .
315s all around ,TKO 500 ,3100 pounds ...The Dangerfeild of track cars

I just bought a 68 big block project car for $3500. A few guys have builds going but the trend has not caught on YET! Take a look at the custom chassis that are available for a C3.

1. SRIII
2. Street Shop
3. Jamison
4. Newman

I think think C3s will eventually catch on because they are a cost effective build and have good resale value. Time will tell.

I inherited my Dad's 77 when he passed a couple years ago... it's sitting... waiting... wishing it was a 68-72! LOL
