Since I went to the "dark side" and did the LS swap, I sold the block and rotating assembly from my old motor and had the top end freshened up. I'd like to sell it as a kit, at this point I am not looking to piece it out.

600+hp top motor package, everything but the short block and a gasket set and I mean everything! All these parts are in excellent condition, <5k miles on them. Heads are fresh, cam, rockers, and pushrods only have 850 miles

AFR 227 competition ported heads, 2.10/1.60 valves, 100% cnc ported with some additional flow bench and hand work done to them. New valve guides, valve seals, and a valve job (zero miles), K-motion springs, Titanium spring retainers with steel locks. These heads have a lot of upgrades from the standard heads which don’t use the best springs and have steel retainers.

Jesel offset shaft rockers, 1.7 ratio – competition rockers not the street series

Edelbrock/Wilson super Victor intake

Choice of Holley HP series 950cfm carb or VDL prepped 750cfm carb. (VDL had a bit better street manners, 950 made ~15hp more on top end)

Holley 130gph mech fuel pump, regulator, feed line, #8 braided line from the pump to the carb.

HVH blended spacer

Custom mechanical roller cam with screw on rear bearing journal and cast iron gear so you don’t need a bronze distributor gear. I’ll get the exact specs but IIRC it was ~260/268 at .050 and at or just under 0.70” lift with the 1.7 rockers

Crower HIPPO pressurized pin oiling lifters

3/8” diameter comp cams pushrods

Double roller timing chain set

Edelbrock aluminum timing chain cover

APS “Chevrolet” script valve fabricated aluminum covers

APS custom aluminum oil pan with clearance notches for a 4” stroke crank, trap doors for better oil control, built in oil heater.

Oil pump, driveshaft, pickup

ATI harmonic balancer

MSD pro-billet distributor with adj. height collar setup for this combo

MSD 6AL ignition box, blaster coil

Moroso custom below the header heat wrapped spark plug wires

On an aluminum block 427 small block with flat top pistons it made 623hp at 6800rpm and 557tq at 5200rpm. One a steel block it should make even a bit more (2-3%).
$6,000 firm for the package. Add a Dart or other 400-427 short block and you will have a monster. I just hate having these parts sitting around because it makes me shop for a car to put it in!

Richmond 6 speed, shifter, ceramic coated lakewood bell housing, Aluminum flywheel with Mcleod dual disc clutch, water pump/alternator/DSE power steering pump, pulleys, and 1-7/8 hooker headers for 67-69 camaro also available. (but I won’t sell these unless I sell this top end)

thanks! Dan
