and now I know where all the plywood, my yellow paint, and excess construction supplies have gone. Including a rusty pipe shaped hood prop rod.

Trans Am Race Car (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1983-Custom-Firebird-Trans-Am-T-A-Car-Body-Kit-Third-Generation-1982-1992-/290773139341?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item43b36dff8d#v4-41)

I actually don`t want my plywood back. It`s been wrecked, now.

I'm sorry, I just don't see the need to trash someone else's vision of the car they want to build. Pro-touring cars, I'm sure, offend the strict restoration guys, yet they don't come on this board and trash what we do.

While the car in question is neither a pro-touring car nor a restoration, do we really need to mock somone else's vision to feel better about ourselves?

You are dead on and a better man than I since I did post a reply in a previous thread about a build on e-bay.

really dude, how can you defend that thing on any level....unless it was a blindman's vision...

Sure it's hardly my style, but whoever built that car is engaged in the car hobby, instead of attacking it. For that reason alone, I won't mock the car or the builder.

No biggie.... the rest of us are happy to!:D

Seriously -- WTH is wrong with America these days? Do we always have to be politically correct? Let's call a spade a spade... that thing is a complete pile of crap.

Since when to do we have to hand out a trophy just for "participation"... :faint:

It sure is a pile of crap.

That said, you don't need to get your panties in a wad. I didn't praise the car or give the builder an award for participation, I just don't see the need for these threads mocking what someone else has built.

Mike --- we're actually in agreement... but it's still fun. A monumental waste of time etc... but ya gotta laugh at "something".

If that boat-style latch on the back opens up to a cooler full of beer then the car is brilliant. After a few of those beers, I'll even go for a ride in it. Same thing as drinkin' her on up to a 10. Kinda what Pontiac Aztec owners have to do.

Nice gaps!

Hey - this "build" almost has more posts than Dave's! Well... more about the actual car anyway!
