It's been a while... we've been working on the car hardcore for the past year and it's looking like we'll actually make the SEMA schedule. I've had the help of some great friends, without which the car would not be anywhere near where it is now. I cant say how much I appreciate their help. TC Penick, Brian Finch, Tim Strange, Carson Messer, and Glen Massey to name a few have all gone way above and beyond helping... thank you! It's really quite overwhelming looking back at when I first got the car, and the place it is now... Im proud of it. I'll have more progress reports soon; here's acouple of updated pics for now.

Thanks guys! We had another sucessful weekend.... got brakes plumbed, hydroboost lines routed, cooling lines mapped, and a ton of other incidentals that pop up.... We worked at Finch's shop (HotRod Transformations) saturday and sunday... it was a HUGE help having his mustang there to not only get inspiration from, but to see how he routed Pressure lines, cooling lines and hoses, and simplified the 2004 Mustang systems to fit the early Mustangs. Glass is in now, and the list is still long, but alot shorter from this weekends work.

IF anybody is going to SEMA and care to look at it, Heatshield products is the host, they're in the 31000 section of Hot Rod alley in Central Hall.

Thaks for the kind words. :)

Nice color - and like the show.

Too bad Rick left Muscle Car - I can't stand the new guy.

Thanks! Here's a couple more shots of recent thrashes.... More will happen this week... but now it's plumbed, wired, and mostly assembled with a little paint work to do, and lots of buffing.... we'll fire it up next week ( I hope)

Jeff --

Every time I re-do a car -- I wait for the little green men to come in during the night and do some work for me.... after 40 years of dreaming this dream - the little SOB's have yet to show up. That means "I" have to pick up a tool and "do something". DANG NAB IT!

GW,

Whattt !?! :wow: You mean the panel-gap fairy is not coming?!?

Although it makes progress painfully slow, sometimes I benefit by letting an idea "cook" a little longer before the tools come out. I want to do as much of the work myself as possible, even if it takes a couple tries to figure out. Those multiple tries are what makes the days and months scream by on my project. That is the fun though, seeing what I am capable of.

I see you have what looks like a Tiger Cage in your car, is this a custom piece or is Ride Tech coming out with this?

The car has come a long way and looks great!

Thanks for all the kind words! I am working with Ridetech on a couple of things. I'll leave the official announcements to them, but by the time the car sees SEMA and other press I'll have an answer on the tiger cage question. Im using their single adjustable shocks rather than the super-trick remote reservoir triples... simply because this car will see much more street time than track, and the triples, although absolutely beautiful and amazing pieces of engineering in their own right, are overkill for Jaded. We're using the triples on the "ROLLING THUNDER" Ranger we're building on the TRUCKS! show.. we'll be able to utilize them with that vehicle for sure.

More pics soon!!
