As you can see I have shown you all areas of the car and its very clean. Car needs nothing to drive and have fun and if you wanted to go to the next level this is the perfect start at this price. Have over $120,000 in work on the car. Call or email with questions please no PMs dont have time to check them.

Would love some input on what you guys think this car is worth? I know what it took to build the car and it belongs to a ball player who took it to Chip Foose. I also know its a 1967 so what do you guys think is a fair price for the car. Lots of good parts here and no rust all rebuilt.

Hard to say, but the price seems a bit steep. Everyone seems to expect a 500+hp lsx, a minitub / link rear suspension, and an aftermarket sub for this asking price.

Which is highly irrational given that just the parts/features you listed will cost almost half of the asking price of this car....

Open to offers and yeah lot of money in parts here

Are those made of gold? The parts he listed cost like 12k. Of course if you're paying 100$ an hour they cost more but pretty much no one cares what you paid someone to make the car and that's not really a factor in how much it sells for.

Realistically this seems like a high number. There is next to nothing unique about it, in particular as far as Foose goes, it's a nice condition, clean generic camaro, which means it's at least 20k too high.

That doesn't mean someone won't pay that much however.

Here's a quick reminder:

Rules For Classifieds........ Read This Before Posting!!
1. You will need to have at least 20 posts in the regular forums and have been a member for 30 days minimum to be able to start any posts in the classified sections. DO NOT bypass this feature by posting for friends.

2. There are no commercial ads allowed except by Lateral-G sponsors. Any ads placed will be removed without notice.

3. All for sale or trade ads need to have a price and location of item. No listing for offers only, but you can list something with a price "or best offer". Ebay is allowed as long as there is a "buy it now".

4. No negative comments in the for sale or trade sections. We all have opinions, but this is a great community here, and I don't think we need to bash people for placing an ad that doesn't agree with our idea of value. Members should be able to place an ad without worrying about being bashed.

5. Watch out for cashier check scams. Here's a link to some good info regarding accepting a cashiers check for an item you're selling.

To me it looks like a nice, average $35K Camaro with some good parts on it. There's nothing about it that says high-end pro build except for some of the interior upgrades. The car could really be made nice with some attention in the engine bay and stance. I think the TPI holds it back some too. Just my opinon.

I'm not sure our community is the best judge of what this car is worth. At least, our tastes aren't fully aligned with the build style, and as such, we might guestimate towards the low side. A lot of us wouldn't pay anything near 60k for that car. The engine bay lacks a cleaned up firewall, LS engine, powdercoating over chrome, etc. We also tend to look for wide wheels and tires and subframes and link suspensions over nice interiors. This car has narrower tires, a higher ride height, and is built more as a driver/cruiser, than what a lot of us are starting to regard as the more race bred standard for street cars these days.

That interior is certainly tasteful, and the Foose name being attached will no doubt help sell the car to the type of buyer a car like this would attract. at an auction with a different demographic of buyers, they might decide the car is worth more.

Hey Jody, its cool I asked people what the car is worth and I know how much it cost to build a car like this.

Realcoray there are way more than 12K in parts on this car start adding up the parts and let me knwo where you get. Did he over pay to build the car yes but its still worth something.

This car with a LS engine and right stance would easy be $100K car the complete car has all new everything with full suspension, interior and all the upgrades just needs a new look IMHO. Thats why we posted it up here this would be a great project for someone to buy and drop a LS in it and then lower more with new wheels/tires. You would easy be in the car half of what its worth.

I meant the parts someone else suggested would eat up half of the cost of this car, not the actual parts on this car.

Please pardon my threadjack, but it may be pertinant given the expectations of buyers vs. build cost.

I stand by my suggestion. The thought that "Everyone seems to expect a 500+hp lsx, a minitub / link rear suspension, and an aftermarket sub for this asking price." is, to me, irrational. Reality of the situation? Maybe.

I'm using rough numbers to illustrate my point. Most who have completed these upgrades know that it can easily cost more.

500+ Hp LSX - $10k by the time you have plumbed, wired, fueled, tuned, and running properly. Even the junkyard motor swaps end up at $7k when you truly include everything. This will also depend on hitting that 500hp mark, not 400hp+

Aftermarket Sub - $5k on the low end, $8k on the DSE end of the spectrum.

Mini Tub - $400 not including labor ($1k), but what are your wheels and tires gonna cost you to fill up that tub? $3k?

Multi-Link Rear - $2,000 on the low end, $3,000 with upgrades (sway bar, double adjustables, etc). No labor to install...

I get to $22k -$25k pretty quick with just those items, no labor included. Almost half the asking price. This was the point of my statement. Your $12k number is optimistic at best.

The whole thread is wacked IMO. Kinda weird that someone is selling something and also asking people's opinion on what it may be worth. :willy:

Everyone has input and if you don’t have something positive to add to the conversation stay out of the thread. I only asked this crowd of builders what they thought the car was worth because they all know what it takes to build cars like this. I was looking for real input on what a car like this should go for to help one of my clients out not a bunch of BS. Sorry that some of you feel that this is a waste of your time but you don’t have to look or read the thread. Everyone knows on this site that paint alone is around 7K not to mention all the parts and labor on the build. I know what it cost to build cars and I understand what they take to build but I did not do this car so I was looking for a little help from the community on what a car like this should go for and get ignorant remarks of 12K and so on. No one on this site could build a car like this for 20K including me so not sure why some people have to be smart asses.

Doesn’t mater anymore as the CAR SOLD
