Just taking a second to say hi. I have been reading for some time and finally decided to sign up. I have been into custom cars and mainly muscle cars for quite some time now, and this site is great.

I have owned quite a few cars(as most have). I have had 3 camaro's(72,78,79), 4 Chevelles(68,69 convert, 69 coupe, and a 72), 2 Nova's(66, 70), 3 Mustangs(65,79,90) and a 69 cutlass convert.

I just picked up a 78 Camaro that may go under the knife next winter. The car belonged to friend(now brother in law) back when he couldnt even drive. I helped him restore it then(1986) and he owned up till about a year ago. A friend of mine bought it and sold it to me now because he's moving. SO, to make a short story long, I now own it. I'm not completely crazy about the color(supposed to be bright sapphire blue but looks purple) but the car is super solid with not one issue, so its a great starting point.

I co-own a speed/hot rod shop, and restore muscle cars(mainly Chevelle's and Camaro's). Hopefully I can learn alot, and I will definitely be asking questions. Thanks for looking. I will post a pic, just remember I just picked it up last week, and I got a long way to go...... :hail:

Welcome to Lat-G.

What are your plans for the Camaro?

Not sure on the plans yet. I would like to get it lower(much as I can without destrying the drivability), more horsepower and probably different paint and interior. By the time I'm done I may just look for a doner car, maybe a 79 Z28 or T/A. I like the body style so I'll stick with that. I'm doing some research now on getting it lower, and I've read about using the fiberglass transverse leaf spring for the rear. I will be looking for suggestions soon, I haven't finished scouring the site yet :D

Yeah, a few. Over the years my interests have changed, but I have always remained true to musclecars. I swayed for a bit with a 54 Chevy 210 and a 53 Chevy P/U, but I'm back...

Who's the 3rd masshole?

Funny. I spent 4 years in TX(El Paso). I couldn't wait to get the heck out of Mass, but after 4 years I couldn't wait to come back!

Where abouts? Your car looks very familiar, but it's hard to tell by your avatar. I believe it has flames on the underside of the floorboards? If so I definitely know you, and vice-versa

Yup. I was right. I'm Keith B.from Outlaw Motorsports and also Rep for the Right Coast Assoc. Your car is sweet('n low)
