Hey Tracy!! Is this a good carpet choice?

:hail: Tracy, you are the resident interior guru here, you've been doing it for years and the interiors you guys turn out are just unbelievable, so I called you out (Marty's suggestion).

I want to replace the stock looking loop carpeting in my '73 Camaro with a more modern cut pile type material.

I've found a source for "Camsal brand 9400 Series High Performance Luxury Cut-Pile" @ $34.95 a yard.

Your thoughts? Generally do you guys glue directly to the floor? I'd be going over Dynamat.

Specs look fine, where are you getting it. Just want to know if its a good source. If it looks good it should work for you. The weight is a big factor with carpet to make a long lasting floor. We put a pad down over the Dynamat first then carpet . between the pad and Dynamat you get a very dead floor. Always the best way IMO. Use a 30 oz. jute pad.

I've made many purchases from them, all my door panel material, the trunk project material, etc. Great folks to deal with and knowledgeable too.

Scott, call the shop, Its easier to get the message across on the phone than typing..LOL 402 235 3800. Ill get you steered in the right direction, Pad should be used to make the floor look better and help with sound.
