I didn't know that was even possible? Other that using a URL or managing you attachments (which come out small).

I was in the same boat.
Here is how I do it.
1. Put your photos on photobucket
2. Open a web page that you are posting on Lateral G
3. Open another web page for photobucket
4. Select the photo you want to post from photobucket and copy the IMG link under the photo.
5. Paste the link into your response on lateral g
For example the reply you type will not show the photo. Just the link. When you submit the reply, or preview the post, the photo will show up.
This is how I do mine. Check out IMPALA MAN "Project Impulse"

If the picture isn't already hosted on another site.
You should be able to upload a picture from your computer to the server and then post it.
Look in the additional option window below when you are posting a rely. In teh attach files box (second one from the top) click on the manage attachments tab. Then up top click on one of the choose file buttons. It should display your computer directory. Find the picture and select it. You can do multiple pictures by using the multiple choose file buttons. Then hit upload and the file should then appear in the attach files box above the manage attachment window.

If the picture is hosted on the internet you copy/paste the url of the pic and simply click on the http://www.chevelles.com/forums/olp/images/editor/insertimage.gif box that says insert an image on the top of the reply area. Copy/paste the url into the popup that comes up when you clicked the box and you're set. Optional way is to put immediately before the url and immediately after it and the pic shows up automatically.
If the pic is in your computer you have to use the attachment feature to upload a picture.

Guys, that's what I thought. But, it's still a URL though. The OP said "not a URL." That's what confused me and that's why I said I didn't think it was possible to post without it being a URL.

I thought he meant it showed up as a URL you had to click on to see the pic instead of just showing up as a pic. Yes, you need the URL for the pic to show.
