Hey guys, I'm hoping someone can recommend a shop where I can take my 69' Camaro. I need them to fix a leaky rear main seal and troubleshoot a brake problem (I think there's an air leak in one of the lines). I'm in the middle of nowhere and am at the point where I'll trailor the car somewhere to get it done right. I could get to Birmingham, AL., Tuscaloosa, AL., Jackson, MS., Memphis, TN., or anywhere inside that circle.
Thanks for any help you can give!

Is there a more specific kind of shop you are looking for?

Thanks Ironworks! I'll give him a call.
All the major parts of the car are together and I need some help troubleshooting a couple of bugs. First, the engine is leaking oil out the scattershield and I assume it's the rear main. I want to know what caused it and get it fixed. Second, the brakes have inconsistent pedal pressure and I keep getting bubbles out the inner bleed valves on the front callipers. So, I want the shop to be able to re-plumb the brakes if it comes to that.
Thanks for the help!

There are some shops around the Nashville area if you are interested, might not be close enough for you though. Greening Auto is in Nashville now, as well as a couple other shops.

Thanks for the suggestions! Neil is on vacation until next week, so I'll try him again on Monday and I havent gotten a call back from the Rod shop.

Had a buddy in a similiar situtation around the Birmingham area a few months back trying to get a big cube carbureted FE tuned... between this project and his last few he had tried out just about everyone in the area with little success. He finally ended up shipping the car somewhere else to get it worked on. If you find someone good in this area definately post up about it!
I'm sure there is someone good in that area with a word of mouth reputation, working out of his backyard garage filled with cars that get shipped in so he doesn't have to advertise and no one locally even knows he is there.
