I was in the Azores last year. It's really stupid, notice the rope tide to the head. Well there is supposed to be people there at the end of the rope to keep the bull under control or to minimize the damage to a person. What they should be showing is the guys trying to hold the bull back. 5 guys getting yanked when the bull takes off and dragging guys down the street.

I love when the animal wins. You can tell a few of those guys didn't get up, at all. Darwinism at its best.

And some of those fools were kinda walking away like the Bull wouldn't hurt them...Wrong.
Love it when they are crumpled on the Ground..I mean, it is a Bull that is being tormented...
I had to watch the whole thing..

me being part Portuguese, and my ex-wife being full blooded (her dad was on the "Suicide Squad" team). I think i've seen this original video, amongst a bunch of others, at their house on TAPE over the years. LOL.
My dads uncle, was seriously injured while on vacation there a few years back from that.. Bull got him up the rear end. :_paranoid :_paranoid spent quite a while in the hospital there before they'd even send him back to the states.

I'm portugues and even I don't really get why they do this other than tradition.
It's the same with the running of the bulls in Spain. Its their extreme sport.

So we have a bunch of Portuguese on here ....Good to hear that.
I am 50 % Portuguese...Mixed with Brazilian and Italian..
I wouldn't be running with the Bull's... Drinking with the Ladies maybe, and maybe BullS--ting, but no running..
hahahaha oh man. thats pretty funny. I like the ones that are just out cold. Then there is the few that walk away and they look fine but I bet 3 minutes later they are sitting on the ground holding an arm/leg/stomach.

This reminds me of the time I was about 22 and was lifting some weights with a couple bull riders. They had me convinced to go and give it a whirl one night outside a local bar where they had a small rodeo arena. I was in until one of them told me the story about a bull landing on his family jewels. It's been a few years but I'm pretty sure he said they were both the size of an orange. I decided it wasn't for me.
