I received a quote on brakes for the rear of 69 camaro, 760 for 12.19 rotors or 1600 for 13 rear rotors, Is there really that much difference to spend the extra 900 bucks for the 14 inch rotors? thinking about going with 13 on the front and 12 on the rear, what are your thoughts guys, also I see some of you just run manual brakes, looks to simple, do they work good?

looks wise the 13's will fill up the opening alot better, performance wise they of course will be better, but unless you are autocrossing etc and want to get the last little bit of everything out of it, the smaller ones will work fine. On a 18 inch wheel the smaller will be ok, but on a 19 or 20 they could look smallsih. I have c5 rears on my 69 with 20's and to me they look little.

Like said above, unless you are autocrossing and wanting EVERY last inch of improvement, the 12" will more than suffice I would think.

12's should be fine considering weight bias transfer in extreme braking. The type of caliper and pad are more important factors than rotor size IMO.

Just changed our '66 Chevelle convertible to manual from power and updated to all Wilwood products. 7/8 bore master, 13" 6 piston Superlights up front, and 12.19" D154 floating 4 pistons out back. Work awesome! This is on a 4,000 lb. car that gets autocrossed pretty hard. I would highly recommend this combo. Little to no chance of piston knock back with this set up too.
