I'm thinking to take a day off work and head to T-Hill on Monday (7/12). Anyone else here thinking of baking in the heat Monday as well?

Save your money for Buttonwillow on Sept 15th. We could caravan. I usually leave on the 14th around 11:00 a.m.

I'm planinng to head down to Buttonwillow in Sept too. I'm still very much a novice with track days so I wanted to get a little more seat time. I figure Monday would be a pretty mellow day with not too many people attending so less traffic to deal with. Some times I spend $130 on a Saturday night bar tab. The day off work at a track is much better for helping me relax and doesn't come with too much of a hangover. Although given the record of people at T-Hill lately I may need to be concerned about what may break on the car.....

In that case have a good time!! Be sure to bring alot of drinking water, bananas to keep you from cramping, a hat, sun block, chair, and maybe even a jug of water in case your car over heats.
Are you towing or driving?

I'll trailer the car there and maybe I need to think about adding A/C to the trailer this weekend before leaving. It's going to be crazy hot and I may flake on the idea but I'm trying to pump myself up to go. I wanted to go July 1 but had too many issues with APT getting me my new transmission so I missed out.
How's your engine rebuild coming? You going to have test time before Buttonwillow?

One more suspension tune day would be nice.....we'll see. I'm still waiting to get my heads back.

If you want a car to practice tuning suspension while yours is coming together let me know. I'd "let" you help out on my car for the sake of you running better in Sept. :D I know my car needs a lot of tuning work ......but unfortunately not as much work as the driver does.
I was also thinking of leaving for Buttonwillow around the same time so I'll contact you as we get closer to coordinate. If you need any help getting the car back together let me know as well. I'd be glad to help.

Yeah, I'll help you tune your car and hone your skills ;)
Thanks for the offer to lend a hand. My car is down at Vince's shop in San Carlos though and that might be a bit of a hike for you.
