Bought a 2009 Passat for my DD. The leather back seats had child seats and where the plastic touched the leather in the center, it left some really strange oil like residue. I scrubbed the seats with Lexol leather cleaner and then conditioned. They look great! About an hour later, the stripes re-appear. I applied corn starch and let that sit over night, cleaned and conditioned again to no avail. I have oil 'sorb sitting on it now! Anybody have any other advice?

Thanks,

Darren

Sometimes when leather gets oil in the grain it will not come out. Remember leather has pores because it is a skin, Sometimes it just wont come back out. Be careful what you use so that you wont hurt the area around it. Sorry thats not much help
