The truck is a 1999 pewter in color crew cab, The drivers side dually fender and side of bed the paint has peel off and only base coat paint is there. The trailer is a 48 foot white. The back door of the trailer has PineApple Express Racing, The back window of hte truck also has PineApple Express Racing. My race car is IN the trailer. The race car is NOT tied down.

Any chance the truck has OnStar? From what I have read, No it does not have OnStar or GPS. They stole everything from his driveway while they were sleeping last night Thanks guys!!

Chuck posted that the local news (channel 8) is coming to interview him and his wife

First of all let me say I am glad you got your rig and car back. What I really want to recommend not only to you but to all of us with cars is a Lojack system or something similar. I have had experience with Lojack and I can say I am impressed at their recovery %. I also was impressed that it is a one time fee. And no I don't work for Lojack but I am in the law enforcement business.

That's awesome news!

I mentioned it to Laurie and she finished the story for me. Apparently she took the call. :_paranoid

AMAZING.

Congrats on getting everything back...

I also recommend getting some sort of LoJack with the early warning system. It has a motion sensor..

But again, I am amazed that you got it all back, and i bet you guys are on cloud 9..

You must be great people because Karma has come your way...

Yes, my friends are very lucky to have got it all back, minus a few items. I agree everyone needs some sort of tracking device installed on their trailers or cars.

That is great news!

If I recall correctly, a motorcyclists trick is to hardwire an old cell phone with 911 GPS locate active. If there's a need to locate I think the authorities can track with signal if they have the serial number of the phone. I think.......

That's a great trick but you still have a monthly charge for the cell phone, I think Lojack is a one time fee.

A racer friend of mine sells this set up. I have NO personal experience with it

Seen this system on another site. Seems pretty good

"Arrow Track GPS. Its a live tracking GPS system for cars, trailers, boats, RV's. There is no waiting for police, You track your vehicle yourself on a private Internet account. It covers the North American Continent including Canada.

You can track and keep an eye on your ride from another state if you want too. Best of all the GPS calls you when a problem occurs. So there is no waiting to discover somethings wrong. I put a Geofence around my car for added protection, so if my car gets a 1/4 of a mile away from where it should be, I get a second call from the GPS.

The system is backed by 27 satelittes and communicates through first tier digital cellular networks. Its a GSM Quadband. There is no monthly fee. The first year of air time is free with purchase. You pay 99.95 a year starting in the second year for service. Best of all its an American product"

I don't think so, the phone isn't in active service yet it still produces the GPS signal which can be search by it's ID numbers.
