"the boys" had been talking Flamingo for a while. I don't really care where we stay as long as we get there!

I'm thinking the Hilton may have wounded some budgets. It is very convenient though.

We are lucky enough to have a friend there with a killer pad, but I noticed someone talking about finding plane tickets. We have been traveling to Vegas for years, and always found tickets to be cheapest 60 day to 45 days out. No earlier, no later. Just passin it along.

We will see yall in the bar. We decided to take a year off, were drinkin instead!

Since we spend 3 maybe 4 hours a night in the hotel room, I wasn't too concerned with how fancy the fixtures are. As long as it's a clean room I'm happy.

It looks like I have a buyer for my millwork/door/hardwoods warehouse division, so space limitations at my rod shop at the lumber yard may require some sort of RSVP confirmations for those interested in attending this year. We held the event/party there in 2004, so you may remember that it's much smaller than the warehouse we used in 2005. I can stash a few of my cars at the hangar that night to make more seating/buffet/lounge room at my shop, so I suspect we'd be okay for 175-200 guests. Also, if there's enough interest, Stuart could host a Lateral-g golf outing at Southern Highlands Golf Club earlier in the day.

Same deal as last year, Scott/Jody...you guys have to agree to handle the particulars/guest list confirmations and I'll arrange the facility, buffet and spirits between 4 - 8 PM. :D

Just wanted you guy's to know i am still here and i got my sema badge's in the mail yesterday.
The wife and i will be staying at circus circus, since that was one of the only place's left that would hold a 5 day booking....

Anyways, my website got hacked and my entire database had been wiped clean, so i had to rebuild the entire thing, hence i haven't been around here for a while.

A quick question for those going to steve's party, are alot of you that fly in, using rental car's to get around, or will a taxi service work to get to the landins lumber party? I didn't reserve a rental car, since i was planning to spend alot of time within the sema show, but i really want to meet alot of the people from here.....

We get a car every year because we stay with my sister who lives just outside of the strip. Plus the rental car shenanigans are part of our SEMA experience.

One year we gave some people a ride back to their hotel from the party. I asked the passengers if they had ever been in a car that could get up on two wheels. :_paranoid The silence was priceless. :D

Taxi's and limo's can be tough to get after the show. They also get $20 a day to park at the Hilton, or $20 plus tip to valet. :willy:

It depends on when you applied, but there is a cutoff date. Pretty sure it says what it is on their site. Last thing they want is your tix to show up at your house while you're on a plane heading there.

I know of some that have been notified that everythings done, but they are to pick them up at the event.
