Here's some updates to project "Freebird". The front end pieces are carbon fiber. The stock hood may not be in the final product due to engine clearance.
Added a Ron Davis Intercooler, Devil's Own Alcohol/Water Injection, and had to upgrade the fuel system some more. The front/rear suspensions are powdercoated Candy Red over Silver.

Hope you like it. Enjoy. :D

Thanks Scott. You're always the first to see stuff. As a side note some unamed engine builder and magazine editor signed the car up for the HR Pump Gas Drags in September. We'll see...

Here's one other little picture. They used Pro Stock runners on the intake ports. This thing should really flow. The quality is flawless.

Hey Roger -
You're 'da man with Deliverance and all...so, I figured you might know where I could purchase some 1968 GTO Hideaway grilles. I don't need the guts, just the grilles. Tanx.

Thanks Ryan.
The actual color is very close to yours. I told you that yours is "the bomb". Here is a little clearer rendering Kris did.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. You never know exactly what the response will be when you are not a purist. But then again, that's what makes this board so cool !
