Caught up w an old, very good friend today. We spent a few minutes on the 'how's life, how's bizz part,' and got around to fun stuff. Turns out he's racing in Speedventure's Caddilac Challenge Series.

Yawn you might say? Not quite. His name is Steve Collins and he's in the C1 stock class: no car mods, 140 TW tires (wait for it). Steve is 4 for 4 in the series, undefeated and last event ran a 1:58 beating out the unlimited guys.

I'm trying to get Steve to join over here. He's a little sarcastic so I know he'll fit right in...

Nothing boring about this guys - C3 class is very competitive - that Legionnaire car with 825 hp driven by James is surprisingly fast for a 4000 lb car. 5:1 power/weight ratio

You are way to kind Ron.........My apologies. I wasn't going to mention it but Dave through the bait out and I struck like an Alaskan King Salmon. My Bad.

It would be great to get Steve on the site and talk more about his racing experiences and the series. I have a few questions I'd like to ask him about the series itself.

I didn't see anything in the rules about weight. Any idea how far down they could strip the car?
