Greetings,

I have a 64 T-Bird that I was planning on building in a Pro-Touring look. I haven't seen many done like this. Most have been done low rider look. I know that I have a barge, but I feel that even it can corner if built right.

If it can't corner, I am good with that, as long as the stance is right.

390 car with Power everything...doors, windows, seat, steering, brakes. Only issue is that the brakes are drum. So I will replace them first, then remove the gas tank, empty, have it refurbished, then mounted again.

For suspension, I am thinking air bags for the right stance, and I have been told that even with bags, you can get some performance in the corners.

390 will be rebuilt since it is numbers matching. The car has only had 2 owners. My uncle Mike was the 2nd owner and it was his pride and joy. When he passed away, my brother took the car, and didn't do squat with it. So I have it now and will take it to the inth degree.

When the build starts, I will start a thread showing it. BTW, I am an avid Car Audio competitor and judge, so this will have one heck of a sound system.

Interior is going modern with a retro feel. Front speaker location will have 2 three inch wide band speakers, kick panels will have 6.5" components. Rear speaker location will have a 10" subwoofer blaring through it. Planning on two 4 channel amplifiers. Not sure what product I will run, but it is looking like a full JL Audio system. Arc Audio PS8 Processor, McIntosh MX406 head unit.

Really looking forward to this build.
