So, a little more tunnel work and I'm ready to move on to a crossmember. I'm boxing the rails so I don't have the stock mounting option. I remember seeing some cool hangers somewhere on this site but can't find them now. Who makes cool crossmembers or do it yourself kits. I'd rather do the work myself unless there's a finished one that I can't pass up

If you're looking for something clean and simple we offer a weld up kit that should work for you. They are straight with either 0", 2", 4" or 6" of drop/rise in the center. I've used those a couple times in the past. They work great, and look very good.

Depending on how much power you're putting down, the 1-5/8" option might be better. I wasn't really thinking about how far apart the Chevelle rails are when I posted a link to the 1-1/4" option yesterday. All of our weld in trans mounts are here.
