Hi all, I don't post here much, but do read a lot. You guys do some wild stuff...lol.
fyi, here's what my vert looked like when I first joined: http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=713

Over the past 15 months, I've repainted the car (myself, in my garage) Replaced the entire interior (still needa recover the front seats tho), rebuilt the numbers matching 327 (currently a numbers matching 383, scat 9000 crank, 6" i-beam capscrew rods, srp fored pistons, comp 270h cam, dart iron eagle 180 heads, perf rpm, ed 1406, msd RTR, etc etc...) and added a TKO500 trans.

Next on the list is brakes, I'll be posting some questions and looking for some answer in the appropriate place.

Good call on the D90 stripe, it was always my favorite paint scheme for the 68's.

Great work! And that is a pretty quick timeline when you are doing the work yourself! Thanks for the update.

Thanks for the good words, guys! I got about 3 hours of road time on the new engine/trans and I'm liking it a bunch. That 383's just gotta ton of torque, someday soon I'll get enuf miles on to see if she got some "twist" to her, too.
I am pure luvin that tko, too!
Best part is she's smooth and solid, fires at the twist of the key and runs till I untwist it. All the wet stuff is stayin on the inside, too!

Clutch hell... I really need to test out a new 8.5" rear axle, with posi! Still the original 8.2 pegleg, and need to keep it in oine peice for the summer.

Drove 'er to wrok yesterday and today, 'bout 150 miles total including some freeqway time, I'll get that breakin done tootsweet.

Severely traction limited at this point... rolling in first, 1/4 throttle will melt em, any rpm even from idle. same in second but it takes about half.

Did 2 full 3 gear pulls the other night... once things get hooked up near the top of secoind, she pulls clean and strong, didn't let her go over 6k yet tho..
