67 Camaro true bolt on front suspension system

Hi there I am in the process of upgrading my camaro stock from suspension and would like some feedback on the best system for my needs and the price. I like Ridetech's system like the one used on 48 Hour Camaro, seems like an easy install n looks like it performs very well. I also like Carl Casanovas Hotchkis Camaro but don't know if he is running all Hotchkis system or mixture of products according to a web site I read. Both cars look and perform to my needs and I'm interested on either system. I do normal street driving and occasional 1/4 mile test n tune but I would like to know my car can perform better and know its capable to compete in an autocross event. It also looks nicer when you see all new suspension tubular control arms under the wheel wells. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

What's your budget? Ridetech has a very good system. The Hotchkis TVS system is also a very good street driver setup for a lower budget. If you can spend more, check out www.speedtechperformance.com and look at their complete bolt on sub frame and torque bar system. Great system and has had really good success on the track. Or they have some really good control arm/shock packages if you don't want the whole subframe.

Detriot Speed also has a great bolt on complete subframe which has been very suucessful on road course and autocross for many years. A lot of it does come down to money and usage.

Once you start building a thorough budget you'll quickly realize $10,000 doesn't go very far.

Front:
ATS tall, Good coils, Global West upper lowers, Lee Box.
Rear, Fiberglass springs matched to fronts, and weight, good shock of your choice.
Done.

BTW, thx to Mike @ Musclerodz my friend decided to not use the ATS spindles and went all RideTech True Turn front and Airbar rear. A build thread should be coming as soon as the guy learns how to type...:lol:

Suspension budget- i.e. upper/lower arms, spindles, tru-turn, airbar, coilovers. $4,000-$5000.

Yeah i know things can get a little pricey but that Ridetech bolt on system seems pretty reasonable and looks like it will perform well. I just dont want to install that and have a harsh ride, never experimented with coilover shocks. Do u think its a big difference from regular coils?

Huge difference. Its adjustable.
