About got SSR console fitted..seats fitted..Also rear cab panels from porterbuilt...slick!..New shifter plate with auto shifter but 6 speed boot....liked this look better than "mechanical" look of auto plate...that new plate was 1 of only 2 in GM system....ssr parts not easy to find.....working on e-brake mount now.....jim

Love the design, but is the shifter too close to the dash? How does it work out ergo-wise w the seat fittment?

Actually fits very well....pics may be a little misleading...shifter in comfortable position as is console...looks tall in pic but real nice when seated...Can't tell in pic but I actually spent a couple of hours moving shifter rearward and hence the upper piece of console that lays on the rear wall had to be refitted on a different angle....it angles up more than stock and therefore had to reshape where it mates to console...PITA but results were worth it...jim

Gawd, I want a low rider. I'm either going to have to get me a C10 and most likely use Porter Built and No Limit parts as I've seen nothing but quality from them two. It's either that or I'm going to have to build my 01 Sierra extended cab. Too many dreams and not enough money. Keep up the great work Jim.

Windows fit well...no rear track makes them tricky until all the scrubbers are in place....working on bear claw mechanics now and Ring Brothers door handles..Had to buy new Camaro door skins..remove area around handles and reweld in my doors..PIA but will show u the results in couple of days..yeah the things we do to innovate!!!..........jim

Ok guys...finally got drivetrain in and mostly done.....but if u look close that's not an ls3 as originally planned....due to the large amount of money I had to outlay on the black widow clone next to it.....So i pulled out my true 10 to 1 patriot headed ramjet 355.....and the intake is still at Advanced in Nashville.....Trans. is a modded 700r....The plan is to eventually put this pair in the widow and "ls" the truck.....The 8-9k difference in what i want and this drivetrain I already had was the deciding factor for now...but i set this truck up for ls so goin back won't be difficult...This motor combination was ran in a orange 55 2 dr wagon on the Hot Rod Power Tour a year ago...3100 miles in a week...well tested!.....more later....jim

Nice to see the trucks here. Mine's Porterbuilt front, my own brew in the rear.

I believe that was in Marquez's shop...the liner is pricey but u get that money (plus) back being able to "bench" fit the uphostery rather than having to work each panel "in cab".....my guy tells me half price ...so cabliner more than pays for itself besides the convenience ....jim
