I would like to purchase a set of Forgeline wheels. Should I call Forgeline direct? Or who is a good reference?

I'm pretty sure there are vendors on here who would give you a very good price. I don't of any myself though. But, as far as you calling Forgeline directly, I wouldn't hesitate to do that either. I spoken to them directly a few times about prices on wheels and they gave me a damn good deal on a quote. I don't own Forgelines myself, but they are very nice wheels and would run them in a heartbeat on anything I own.

Tony is a wheel dealer and has great feedback. Look up his screen name, NINEBALL, and send him a PM.

I bought direct from Forgeline. I compared price and they were the same. The guys at Forgeline gave me some ideas and advice that other dealers did not. I wouldn't buy anywhere else.http://i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j321/chrismozeley/DSC04446.jpg

Motime,

Is that center the 'titanium' color? And I presume a GA3 or GA3R? I'm considering that same combination for my car, which is a slightly darker blue...

Thanx!

Buy your tires from them too if you haven't already, no worries about install issues that way, prices are good and there's less chance of damage in shipping.

Yes

They are GA3 with Titanium centers and inner hoops and polished outer hoops. My salesman at Forgeline suggested cutting the pad down on the fronts to get more lip. This made a big difference.Motime,

On that idea regarding the fronts, which front brake package are you going to use? I assume that would determine how much they can actually cut down the pad.

I too think that wheel and paint combo looks Great!!!! I am not sure what cut down the brakes mean. Can you explain.

They are talking about milling the back side of the wheel center where it mates to the hub. By making that portion thinner you can have the same overall backspacing with less rim shell in back and more in front. That way you get a deeper dish look up front while still having the needed backspacing.

Think of it as removing a thin wheel spacer.

The problem is the center of the wheel needs to clear your caliper. As you cut some material off the back of the center where it mounts you bring the whole center farther back and closer to the caliper.

Maybe I made it clearer or maybe I made it more confusing. You tell me.
