Got to thinking about this at work: Are the front ends of a 69 firebird and camaro directly interchangeable?
Don't have any plans on doing this, but from the perspective that firebirds seem to be cheaper than comparable camaros - one could theoretically pop AMD's aluminum front end on there fairly easily no?

Never tried it but you would have to change the doors also or the body lines would not match up, but think that's about all you would have to do. The shell is basically the same so it WILL bolt up.

Doors on a 69 firebird are the same as a 69 camaro. my firebird has camaro doors.

yes it will bolt up. the rear quarters and taillight pan are differant. i do belive the hood and cowl panels are different also. there use to be a few firebirds around here that they replaced the rear quarters tail pan and bolted on the camaro front end.

You can reuse doors and subframe, everything else up front would need replaced and wiring harness modified.

I agree. I'm planning on making front end on my 69 Firebird to look like 67-68
